Mary D. Raichel, 70, of Bethlehem and a resident of Holy Family Manor, died June 22, 2019, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Smith) Downey.

She was a market researcher for many years with Bruno & Ridgeway Associates, Lawrenceville, N.J., before retiring.

She was of the Presbyterian faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Kristin Law (David) of Abington and Adrienne Raichel of East Stroudsburg; two sisters, Pegeen Alexander of New Brunswick, N.J. and Kathy Downey of North Brunswick, N.J.; and three grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by James Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
