Lester J. Miller Jr., 71, formerly of Emmaus, died peacefully June 15, 2019. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Lester Sr. and Charlotte (Soos) Miller.

He worked at American National Can Group Inc. for many years. He then worked and retired from J&J Luxury Transportation, Allentown.

He honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was an avid bowler and golfer. He enjoyed coaching softball over the years.

He is survived by daughters, Kimberly Gerlach and her husband, Henry Wolfe, Beth Hallman and her fiancé, David Miller and Lori Gober and her fiancé, William Biery; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four sisters.

Memorials may be presented to the American Heart Association, 968 Postal Road, Suite 110, Allentown, 18109 in loving memory of Lester.

Private services are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
