Harold J. Eyer, 100 years and 6 months to the day, formerly of Emmaus, died June 23, 2019, at Heather Glen Senior Living, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Sadie J. (Iobst) Eyer, who died June 7, 2004. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Roy I. and Anita (Moyer) Eyer.

He was employed at Air Products & Chemicals for 35 years before retiring.

He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He served in Italy and received eight Bronze Stars.

He was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Congregation, Emmaus.

He is survived by his children, Susan J. and her husband, Paul Smith, Jeffrey L. and his wife, Chrystal, John H. and his wife, Michele and Robin J. and her husband, James Rotherham; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Anne Eyer Johnson and brothers, Richard and Roy.
