Guy Ray Bachman

Guy Ray Bachman, 53, of Red Rock, Pa. and Cullman, Ala., died May 26, 2019. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Jackie C. Bachman and the late Linda Rae Fehnel Bachman.

He grew up in Emmaus and graduated from Salisbury High School, Class of 1983.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1986 to 1989.

He was co-owner and operator of the Red Rock Mountain Campground for the past 20 years.

He enjoyed playing his guitar; residing in his home in Cullman, Ala. during the winters; camping and sitting by the campfire with his family; flea markets as well as trading and selling on eBay. Above all he loved driving his Chief across the country, visiting all of the beautiful state parks, especially when they were for free.

He loved his sweet dogs, Abigail, Ollie and Moxie, who were at his side at all times, day or night.

He is survived by his life partner, Shawn R. Hill, of Cullman, Ala.; stepchild, Anthony O. Hill, of Mount Laurel, N.J.; father, Jackie C., of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister, Tracy L. (John) Antrim, of Emmaus; nephews, Shaun M. Antrim, of Philadelphia and Blake R. Antrim, of Emmaus; grandniece, Molly M. Antrim, of Emmaus; grandmother, Jessitine C. Heiter, of Emmaus; daughter-in-law, Kai Villemson, of Mount Laurel, N.J. He was predeceased by his mother on June 29, 2009, brother, Jason on Nov. 29, 2007 and Emily Ann John.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 6 at the Red Rock Mountain Campground. Contact the campground at 570-925-5039 for further information.
