Elaine A. Kern, 71, of Northampton, died June 12, 2019, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of Charles G. Kern Jr. for 50 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Clara (Fritzinger) Dillinger.

She worked in the business office for the Northampton School District before retiring.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer L. and her husband Troy Werley of Moore Township; two granddaughters, Amanda and her husband Michael Millhouse and Amber Werley; a brother, Jeffrey Dillinger of North Carolina; and a sister, Lisa Swope of Maine.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela A. Kellow.
