Bath Borough is celebrating another successful Community Days event.

This year’s fair, held June 12-15 at Ciff Cowling Field, included games, carnival rides, face painting, live entertainment, food and beverages for both kids and adults.

Thirty-five sponsors stepped up this year to help defray costs. Platinum sponsors included Bath American Legion Eckley E. Patch Post 470, Reichel Funeral Home and Valley Farm Market.

Bath Fire Department is in charge of the event. Fire Chief Chuck Tulley said he was well pleased with the number of sponsors and the teamwork exhibited to assemble this year’s edition of Community Days.

“A lot of hard work happened to get this help,” Tully said.

Also on hand was Harrell Jeter, fire department president, who echoed the sentiment.

“Things are improving in Bath,” he said.

The four-day fair included performances by Steel Creek, Uncle Smiley Band, Flirtin with the Mob and Desire.

The event had a genuine community feel with concerted efforts to promote resident connections.

“All towns are kinda alike,” Tully said. “To move forward, people have to work together.”
