A 23-year-old male, of Allentown and a 27-year-old female, of Coplay, were arrested for drug possession after a traffic stop at Lower Macungie and Brookside roads, Lower Macungie Township, 2:53 a.m. May 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A search of the vehicle uncovered controlled substances belonging to both people, police said.
A 19-year-old male, of Macungie, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at Lower Macungie Road and Bogie Avenue, 5:08 p.m. May 8.
Randal Keith Spaits Jr., 39, of Allentown, allegedly was observed placing multiple items of merchandise and grocery items, valued at $163.57, into bags without scanning them at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2 p.m. May 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 31-year-old female, of Allentown, was taken into custody for retail theft after she allegedly removed $113.34 in assorted women’s clothing and other merchandise by concealing items in her purse at Walmart, 1091 Milll Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:29 a.m. May 1. She was transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center.
A 37-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody after he attempted to remove 52 items with a total value of $346.92 from Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 10:45 a.m. May 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville was contacted regarding vandalism on a property owned by Trinity Great Swamp Church, 9150 Spinnerstown Road, Lower Milford Township, 8:27 a.m. April 8. Graffiti was found inside a building next door to the church and used for church functions. The graffiti contained racial slurs and anti-religious sentiments and was observed by the church’s pastor, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 68-year-old female, of Breinigsville, reported to police her iPhone 10x cellphone was stolen from the front passenger seat of a vehicle in the 7000 block of Tuscany Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:05 p.m. May 19.
Unknown people entered two unlocked vehicles along Ford Drive, Upper Milford Township and removed Oakley sunglasses, valued at $150, Gatorz sunglasses, valued at $170, a Bluetooth speaker, valued at $130 and $10 cash between 3 and 4 a.m. May 13.
An unknown person entered a detached garage in the 4000 block of Tank Farm Road, Upper Milford Township and rummaged through several vehicles between 3 and 4 a.m. May 13. Anyone with information regarding this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.
Kathleen Mary Johns, 60, of Zionsville, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, 1:21 a.m. May 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 31-year-old male, of Mansfield, Texas, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol after a trooper conducted a traffic stop for several traffic violations at the intersection of Buckeye Road and Tank Farm Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:58 p.m. June 3.
A 44-year-old male, of Allentown, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol after a trooper conducted a traffic stop for multiple vehicle code violations at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and South Cedarbrook Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:19 p.m. June 4.
A 25-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at the intersection of Sauerkraut Lane and Sauterne Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:05 a.m. June 2.
Two registration plates, packaged to be mailed, went missing from Ciocca Subaru, 4611 Hamilton Blvd., sometime between April 30 and May 23. The investigation continues, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
