Two new establishments in the Moravian Book Shop celebrated their grand opening May 24. Dave’s Deli and Lost Tavern Brewery occupy one side of the reconfigured book shop, sharing common space so patrons may enjoy both a bite to eat and microbrewed beverages.

Dave’s Deli clerk Kim Aszli said, “The food is great and so are the people.” Up front, Lost Tavern general manager Jackie Weiboldt says they’ve been “pretty well received” and “the sales are definitely there.”

Arlene Brockel, owner of the nearby Chocolate Lab, said she is also hopeful that the new establishments will bring more foot traffic to that end of Main Street.

Dave’s Deli hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Lost Tavern is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday- Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
