Marie Serensits, 94, of Whitehall, died May 25, 2019. She was the wife of the late Luke “Snug” G. Serensits for 70 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Polzer) Marth.

She was a bench hand at the former Western Electric and AT&T until she retired. Earlier in life, she worked at Bethlehem Steel.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by a son, Kevin and his wife Alice (Kochanasz) of Whitehall; and two grandchildren, Kelly and Luke with Bronte Grigoruk.

She was predeceased by a brother, John L. Marth; and a sister, Hermina Ivankovits.
