I can’t believe it is graduation time again! The commencement ceremony for Salisbury High School’s class of 2019 will be held 6 p.m. June 4 at Allentown Symphony Hall. Admission is by ticket only.

The Salisbury Cross Country team will hold a car wash fundraiser noon to 4 p.m. June 1. Tickets can be purchased at the car wash or from a cross country team member. Come out to Big Woody’s on South 4th Street and support the cause.

All Salisbury Township schools will be closed May 24 and 27 for the Memorial Day holiday.

Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School will have a 1 p.m. dismissal May 28. Harry S Truman and Western Salisbury elementary schools will dismiss at regular time.

The Academic Awards night will be 7 p.m. May 28 at SHS.

An operations committee meeting will be held 7 p.m. June 3 in the administration building.

Did you hear the news? Food truck Thursdays are back at the South Mall on Lehigh Street. Don’t feel like cooking? Drive over to the South Mall on Thursdays this summer between 4-8 p.m. and take your pick of tasty fare from around 10 different food trucks.

The Devonshire Drop-off will be open May 23 and 30, June 1 and 4. Hours of operation for Salisbury residents are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on thE first and third Tuesday and Saturday of the month. Evening hours have now begun 3-9 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays.
