A 21-year-old male, of Macungie, was charged with obstruction of governmental operations and harassment after he allegedly pushed officers who were dispatched to the 400 block of East Main Street on a report of a female overdosed on prescription medications. Police attempted to render aid but were confronted by the male. He was taken into custody and transported to Lehigh County Central Processing, according to Macungie police.

A 21-year-old female, of Macungie, was charged with driving under the influence after Macungie police conducted a traffic stop March 24. She was transported to Lehigh County Central Processing for testing, according to police.

Timothy J. Davis-Burgess, 27, of Emmaus, allegedly was driving under the influence of a controlled substance when police conducted a stop for vehicle code violations March 28, according to Macungie Police. Davis-Burgess was transported to Lehigh County Central Processing for testing where he allegedly refused testing and was charged with alleged obstruction of justice, according to Macungie police.

Janine Bartha, 39, of Macungie, was placed into custody for alleged simple assault and disorderly conduct after police responded to a disturbance March 19, according to Macungie police. Bartha allegedly struck another person, causing physical injury, according to police. Bartha was transported to Lehigh County Central Processing.
