Stewart R. Bright, 94, of Northampton, died May 16, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Anna E. (Spaits) Bright for 73 years.

Born in Strausstown, he was a son of the late Edgar and Laura (Strauss) Bright.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was a water treatment plant operator for Northampton Borough Municipal Authority until he retired in 1987.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Young At Heart senior group, Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dennis and his wife Carol and Robert and his wife Carolyn; a sister, Doris Owens; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be private.
