Stephen P. Gober, 93, of Northampton, died May 14, 2019. He was the husband of the late Caroline (Ebner) Gober.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Schlaffer) Gober.

He worked at Cross Country Clothes for 46 years until his retirement.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Holy Name Society, the Catholic War Veterans Post 454 and the Young at Heart senior group.

He is survived by two sons, David and his wife Lori and Gregory; a daughter-in-law Colleen; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Theresa Lauser.

He was predeceased by a son, Stephen.
