Edward P. Oncheck, 73, of Germansville, died May 1, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Diana M. (Sasnauskas) Oncheck for 33 years.

Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Mary (Seiler) Oncheck.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era and was later employed at the U.S. Department of Defense, Philadelphia, for 30 years.

Before that, he worked for American Nickeleod, Walnutport, for several years.

He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, Egypt, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Langhorne.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sisters, Theresa E. Jones of Oviedo, Fla., Kathleen J. Grammes of Slatington and Stella L. Schoch and her husband Brian of Walnutport; nieces; nephews; and friends.

He was predeceased by three siblings, Frank S. Jr., Mary Ann Bishop and Ann Marie Meckes.
