Harry S Truman Elementary School field day for students in grades three through five will be held 1:30 p.m. May 15. Should the rain date need to be used, field day will take place May 21.
HST will hold a Leader in Me Family Night 6:30-7:30 p.m. May 15. Look for information regarding this event to be sent home with your students.
The HST and Western Salisbury Elementary School annual Color-A-Thon will take place May 17 with registration beginning 5:30 p.m. The annual Spring Fling event will take place immediately following, around 7 p.m. and go until dark. During the Spring Fling, there will be free activities including music, slip and slides, a pirate ship bounce house, basketball, balloon art and face painting. Come out for a fun night.
Salisbury High School will hold its prom 6 p.m. May 18.
The next Coffee and Conversation event with Superintendent Dr. Randy Ziegenfuss and Assistant Superintendent Lynn Fuini-Hetten will be held 6-6:45 p.m. May 20 at the administration building. Immediately following, there will be a curriculum and technology meeting, beginning 7 p.m.
We are nearing the end of the school year and one of the last HST T-shirt days will take place May 23. Remember to show your Falcon spirit.
All Salisbury Township School District schools will be closed May 24 through 27 for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Schools will reopen May 28.
May 28 will be an early dismissal for Salisbury Middle School and SHS only. Both schools will dismiss 12:15 p.m. HST and WSE will both dismiss at regular times.
Looking forward, the HST Ice Cream Festival will be held noon to 4 p.m. June 1. Volunteers are needed.
The Franko Farm Yard Waste Drop off will be open 3-6 p.m. May 16 and 20 and will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 25 and 28.
