Clair N. Stahley, 80, of Allentown, died May 4, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital’s inpatient hospice unit, Allentown. He was the husband of Sheila A. (Snyder) Stahley and the late Linda J. (Seibert) Stahley.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Nevin J. and Sarah (Weyhenmeyer) Stahley.
He owned and operated Clair Stahley Inc., Allentown, a plumbing and excavating company, from 1970 to 2000.
A former member of the plumbing board of South Whitehall Township, he was co-owner of Sour Apple Hunting Club, Lightstreet, Columbia County.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Kathleen M. and her husband Jan Gower of Coplay, Judith A. and her husband Eric Hokenson of Bethlehem, Mark A. and his wife Louise of Alburtis and Clair N. Jr. and his wife Laura of Schnecksville; three sisters, Reniea A. Peters of Emmaus and Marlene A. Peters and Alice M. Graf, both of Whitehall; four grandchildren, Brooke, Brittany, Christopher and Tess; and four great-grandchildren, Trey, Aubrey, Hannah and Adalynn.
He was predeceased by a brother, Nevin R. Stahley.
