Cecelia C. Hamil, 96, of Bethlehem, died April 25, 2019. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Victor Marchetto and Mamie (Ganci) Bealer. She was the wife of the late Durward H. Hamil.

She was a 1940 graduate of Phillipsburg High School.

She was a homemaker and a former aide at Head Start of the Lehigh Valley.

She was a parishioner of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

She is survived by three children, Cecelia Graser Brandt and her husband Michael Brandt of Bethlehem, Durward R. and his wife Sandra Hamil of Orefield and John T. and his wife Pilar Hamil of France; four grandchildren, Mia, Jason, Erich and Christopher; and two great-grandsons.

She was predeceased by two sons, Rodney, to whom she devoted 20 years of her life to caring for; and Michael; and two brothers, Albert and Joseph.
