Three Springhouse Middle School students were recent winners in the Bright Ideas energy efficiency poster contest sponsored by PPL Electric Utilities.
Amanda Brown, a grand prize winner, received a $100 gift card. Rahul Jasapara and Phebronia Papageorgion took home honorable mention honors and each received a $25 gift card.
In addition, their class received a pizza party.
“We congratulate all our winners, not only for their creativity but also for their enthusiasm about energy efficiency,” said Mary Ann Kelly-Merenda, an energy efficiency program manager for PPL. “It’s exciting to be able to educate a new generation of energy consumers.”
PPL provides a wide variety of energy efficiency programs that help its customers save energy and money.
