LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

FALCON INSIDER

Prom tickets are on sale until April 30. They can be purchased in the cafeteria during lunches. The Salisbury High Prom will be held at Lehigh University May 18. All juniors, seniors and their guests are welcome to attend. Doors will open 5 p.m. for seniors and 6 p.m. for all other students.

Students who plan to attend the prom but need help obtaining an outfit should contact Mrs. Legath, Mrs. Williams, Ms. Morningstar or their guidance counselor to schedule an appointment at the Prom Boutique. There are new and gently used dresses and suits in a variety of different colors and sizes. All requests will be kept confidential.

The SHS spring concert will be held 7 p.m. May 7. Mark your calendars so you can come listen to the SHS chorus and band share their musical talents.

The district-wide art show opens 5 p.m. May 8. Students’ artwork from grades kindergarten through 12th will be displayed at SHS. Come check out what Salisbury students have been working on in art classes throughout this year.

The school board approved the dual enrollment agreement between SHS and Moravian College. Students at SHS will be able to gain credits from Moravian or Seton Hall depending on the course. This will allow students to potentially transfer credits to the college of their choice while still taking classes at SHS.

The SHS community was sad to hear Mrs. Natalie Kriner, a SHS guidance counselor, will be retiring. She has been working at SHS for 15 years and now plans to spend her retirement with family. Although the student body is excited for Mrs. Kriner, she will be a well-missed member of the SHS community.

The final day of school (assuming there is no more severe weather) is June 13. Students will enjoy a 10:15 a.m. dismissal on this day.
