The Northampton track and field teams swept Pleasant Valley on Monday afternoon. The girls were 86-64 winners while the boys won 79-71.

For the girls, Amber Poniktera led the way with a double victory on the day. Poniktera took first in the 800 and 1600 events.

Other winners for the girls were Raine Korpics in the 100, Georgia Wiswesser in the 3200, Mikayla Davidson in the pole vault, Abi Czarnecki in the long jump, Brooke Rockovits in the triple jump and Reia Sanchez in the javelin.

The 1600 and 3200 relay teams also won.

On the boys side, Tyrese Brandon and Aaron Marth had big days to lead the way. Brandon won three events, the 100, 200 and the long jump while Marth added victories in the shot put and javelin.

Other victories from the boys came in the 800 from Dalton Domchek, 1600 from Evan Gillette, 3200 from Vince Gallagher and the triple jump from Jacob Dziedzic.

The 3200 relay team also crossed first.
