Get ready to sip, savor, save and support!
Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce, a proud partner of Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, presents its Restaurant Week April 7-13 at participating restaurants, bake shops and breweries in Whitehall Township, Coplay Borough, Catasauqua Borough and North Catasauqua Borough.
Attention, Lehigh Valley foodies: It’s time to start working up an appetite - because it is the best time to dine! The weeklong event is designed to help local residents and visitors from across the Lehigh Valley discover all of the unique dining options Whitehall, Coplay, Catasauqua and North Catasauqua communities have to offer. Participating locations offer set-price or prix fixe breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert menus, both take-out and dine-in options, designed to satisfy a spectrum of palates, budgets and lifestyles.
“This annual event allows us to highlight the businesses within these communities during a relatively slower time of the year,” said Jessica O’Donnell, executive vice president of Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Last year, the businesses that participated reported an increase in sales and new faces to their establishments. Our goal is to showcase all that we have to offer within these four communities. A weeklong event, such as this one, allows us to support our mission of making this area more vibrant, attractive and prosperous, all while supporting our businesses.”
This year, the participating businesses include, as of April 2, Bravo Cucina Italiana, Whitehall; Bridge Street Family Restaurant, Catasauqua; Burger Shack, Whitehall; Catty Corner Restaurant & Bar, Catasauqua; Chick-fil-A Whitehall, MacArthur Road location; Chili’s Grill & Bar Restaurant, Whitehall; Dunderbak’s Market Café, Whitehall; McDonald’s, all three Whitehall locations; Philly Pretzel Factory, Whitehall; Pocono Brewing Company, Whitehall; Riley’s Restaurant & Pub, Whitehall; Samuel Owens Restaurant & Bar, Coplay; Taylor House Brewing Company, Catasauqua; Wicked Sweet Bake Shop, Whitehall; Armando’s Express Pizza, Whitehall; Stravino’s Italian Market, Whitehall; and Fossil’s Last Stand, Catasauqua.
Some great take-out specialties include a lunch bundle box with nuggets and milkshakes from Chick-fil-A, which is perfect for you and some co-workers. Philly Pretzel Factory is offering lunch and a dinner deal for date night. McDonald’s is offering free coffee with breakfast sandwiches and BOGO large sandwiches for lunch and dinner. Wicked Sweet Bake Shop is offering specials on packs of cupcakes and danishes, perfect to take to a friend or family’s house. And Stravino’s Italian Market is offering a free drink with a hoagie purchase.
Mary Lucente, general manager of Bravo, said, “Bravo will continue to be a part of Restaurant Week year after year because it is a great opportunity to remind the Lehigh Valley residents we’re still here 10-plus years later. This is an amazing value for the week for new customers and our existing customers by giving them a taste of what we have to offer.”
