Cetronia, Greenawalds and Woodlawn volunteer firefighters were dispatched just after 5 p.m. March 31 to a house fire at 965 Hollow Court, South Whitehall Township.
Also responding were Western Salisbury firefighters who brought along a supplemental aerial truck and Alburtis firefighters for a rapid intervention team.
Cetronia Ambulance Corps personnel were dispatched to provide EMS coverage, if needed, as was a township police officer.
Fire damaged the front porch of the home, owned by Kwon Hee and Sunhee Park, but was quickly knocked down by Cetronia firefighters, according to Fire Chief Jay Heicklen.
The cause remains under investigation by South Whitehall Fire Marshal John Frantz.
The couple was able to remain in the home as there was minimal damage to the interior.
