Northampton Area Public Library: Program on aging is April 10
The library will hold a program titled “Imbalance, Dizziness and Falls - Maintaining Youthful Balance As You Age,” beginning 10 a.m. April 10.
Transform Rehabilitation will discuss where your balance comes from and how physical therapists assess balance to determine what exercise to implement.
Registration is not required.

A teen life-size game event is scheduled for 3 p.m. April 10.
Teens can participate in Hungry Hungry Hippos, Clue and Pac-Man.

Get ready for Easter and make a bunny craft at the adult spring craft event, scheduled for 6 p.m. April 15.

Registration begins April 16 for the children’s book bingo.
Play book bingo 6 p.m. May 2 and win new or slightly used books.
The bingo is for children up to fifth grade. An adult must accompany any child needing assistance to play.

The One Book, Every Young Child program begins this month. The baby and toddler program is April 16, and the preschool program is April 17. Both start 10 a.m.
To promote early literacy and the importance of reading early, children will participate in a story and activity featuring this year’s book.

LifeSpring in Home Care of Eastern Pennsylvania will present a program titled “Conversation about Memory Loss,” starting 4 p.m. April 22.
The program will include an informative discussion with practical advice about how to best manage your loved one’s memory loss.

An Eric Carle-themed storytime is planned for 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 23. The program includes stories, activities and colorful crafts to celebrate Eric Carle.
This program is recommended for children ages 2 and older.

Join us for stories, activities and crafts at the Children’s Book Week family storytime. There will be events starting 6 p.m. April 30 and 10 a.m. May 1.
Children’s Book Week spans April 29-May 5 this year.

Join the Friends of the Northampton Area Public Library for the sip and shop event, to be held 6-8 p.m. May 3. Shop vendors such as Paparazzi Jewelry, Tastefully Simple, Scentsy, Thirty-One and more at the library.

Ken Rainere, author of “A Living Legacy: Architecture of A.W. Leh,” will present the “Life in Fountain Hill Mansion” program 6 p.m. May 10.
The program explores the life and home of Elisha Packer Wilbur, president of Lehigh Valley Railroad and South Bethlehem financier.
