Mary Louise (Marylou) L. McElroy, 85, of Zionsville, died March 22, 2019, with her family by her side in Lakeland, Fla. She was the wife of Joseph R. McElroy. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd B. and Florence (Reinhard) Wendling.

She worked at Air Products and hospice and started a ministry for the care of elderly, now known as Women of Grace Referral Ministry.

She was a member of Salem Bible Church, Macungie, where she touched so many lives.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Elizabeth, of Lakeland, Fla. and Rebecca McIldoon, of Zionsville; sister, Fern Titus, of Northampton and brother, Paul Wendling, of Zionsville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Faye Carwell.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 3 p.m. May 4 at Salem Bible Church, Macungie. Calling hours will be 2 to 3 p.m. and also after the service. A reception will follow the service.
