During the Macungie Borough Council meeting April 1, the rental building inspector was interviewed.

Todd Heffner has been an Allentown firefighter and feels he is very aware of safety issues. He can fit this into his schedule as he maintains his employment with the fire department. Council approved his appointment.

The park is self-supporting and depends on events and donations to keep the park, playground and pool maintained. Angermeier is requesting volunteer assistance for various events and other activities within the park. Presently volunteers are needed for cruise nights, the antique truck show, Das Awscht Fescht, Mustang Club Show, Wheels of Time and dog shows. Angermeier can be reached at 610-966-3489 or by email drang@ptd.net.
