Mike Kozak

Mike Kozak, 84, of Macungie, died March 24, 2019, in the presence of his loving family. He was the husband of Brenda Banks Kozak. He was one of eight children born to the late Helen and George Kozak.

He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960, where he was an ace on the rifle team.

For over a decade, he enjoyed coaching his sons in the Upper Milford Little League.

He was a roofer by trade, working in the construction business as the owner of Mike Kozak Roofing and Siding for over 35 years.

He was an avid hunter, especially deer and was a longtime member of the Macungie Rod and Gun Club. He also remained active in the Macungie VFW.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Kent, of Amherst, Va., Kraig, of Bath, Kevin, of Pickerington, Ohio and Kory, of Winter Garden Fla; 11 grandchildren, Kyle, of Macungie, Kristopher, Daniel, Kathleen, Nathan and Victoria, all of Amherst, Va., Chase and Cannon, both of Winter Garden, Fla., Colin Sims, Jordan and Kiara, all of Pickerington, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Kinsley Karle, of Crawfordsville, Ind; brothers, George, Joseph, Paul and Samuel. He was predeceased by brothers Peter, Charles and John; sister, Anne Nakata.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. March 30 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. March 30 in the funeral home.
