Frank L. Bokeko

Frank L. Bokeko, 94, of Emmaus, died March 24, 2019, at Lehigh Center, Macungie. He was the husband of the late June A. (Lerch) Bokeko. They celebrated 63 years of marriage at the time of her death in 2011. Born in West Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Samuel and Sarafine (Panebianco) Bokeko.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he fought and was injured in the Battle of the Bulge.

He was a brake inspector at Mack Trucks for 44 years until retiring.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

He is survived by a son, Michael K. and his wife, Ellen, of Williamsport; daughter-in-law, Patricia; brother, Angelo and his wife, Anna; grandchildren, Anthony Giandomenico and his wife, Opi, of San Francisco and Melissa and her husband, John Brian, of Auburn; four great-grandchildren; five nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Larry F. and his siblings, Mary Lettiere and Daniel.

Services will be 11 a.m. March 27 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A calling hour will be held 10 to 11 a.m. March 27 in the funeral home.
