Salisbury High School’s No Place For Hate club is selling T-shirts for the annual Day Without Hate. Students interested in buying a T-shirt should fill out the form, which can be found in an email sent by Ms. DosSantos. All forms and money are due by April 1.

SHS’s STARs (Students Taking Active Roles) are collecting items to create homeless care kits for two shelters in our community. Students are asking for donations, such as water bottles, granola bars, socks, gloves and hygiene products. For a complete list of what they are collecting, check out the flyer on the school website. All donations are due in Professora Cherry’s room by April 12.

SHS’s National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be held 7 p.m. March 28. Come support the newest members of NHS.

The Salisbury Athletic Booster Club is holding a one-day clothing drive April 27 at Salisbury Middle School. Items should be dropped off at the main entrance between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The club is collecting a variety of items, including clothing, household items and accessories, so check out the complete list to see what and what not to donate.

The guidance office is currently working on the 2019-2020 master schedule. Because of this, if a student is interested in changing their course choices for the 2019-2020 school year, they must make this request after the master schedule is completed in mid-May.

The end of the third marking period is April 8.

Coastal Carolina University will visit SHS 8:15 a.m. May 2. Interested juniors and seniors must obtain a pass from the school counseling office at least one day prior to the college visit.

The next SAT test will be given May 4 with a deadline for registration of April 5. The June 1 SAT test has a registration deadline of May 3. Finally, students will have off on April 18, 19 and 22 for spring break.
