Betty J. Bauer, 91, of Macungie, died March 22, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the daughter of the late Clarence E. Bauer Sr. and Edna M. (Hoffman) Bauer and was raised in Longswamp Township by her maternal grandmother, Stella Hoffman.

She was employed as an assembler at Allen Organ Company, Macungie, for over 40 years, retiring in 1992. She had also worked at the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis.

She enjoyed picking up her friends, going on drives and eating at local diners.

She is survived by a brother, Clarence E. Jr., husband of the late Connie (Moyer), of Alburtis; sister, Shirley M., wife of the late Francis E. Fogel, of Macungie; nieces and nephews, Betty J. (Geist) and her husband Richard D. Miller, of Macungie, Cindy J. and her husband Steven Grace, of Alburtis, Timothy L. and his wife Donna (Raudenbush), of Florida and Peggy J., of Massachusetts. She was predeceased by a sister, Arlene M. Geist in 1992.

A funeral service will be held March 30 at Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 E. Weis St., Topton. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. March 30 in the funeral home.
