Hilda Lahr, 92, of Nazareth and. formerly of Lower Nazareth Township, died a March 21, 2019, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Chester C. Lahr.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Warren W. Siegfried and the late Esther Mae (Fisher) Siegfried.
She was a member and a 10 year treasurer and, for 12 years, a church secretary for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church-Hecktown before retiring in 1992.
She was a member and a past membership director of the Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company Women’s Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, Terry C. and his wife Michelle (Sloyer) of Stroudsburg and Bruce P. and his wife Sharon (Konya) of Bangor; a sister, Virginia Bakos of Wind Gap; two brothers, Leonard V. Siegfried and Ernest G. and his wife Debra Siegfried, all of Bethlehem; five grandsons, Jesse and his wife Kimberly, Christopher and his wife Stacey, Stefan, Jonas and Matthew; and five great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Jarret, Eamon, Anderson and Everett.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Denise Lahr; two brothers, Harold and Walter Siegfried; and two sisters, Lois Ann, and Mildred Arndt.
There will be a visitation from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11:30 a.m., on March 26 in the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home Inc., 211 E. Center St., Nazareth, 18064.
