Francis “Frank” W. Vresics, 85, of Bethlehem, died March 17, 2019. He was the husband of Margaret Ann “Peggy” Vresics for 64 years.
Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Cserpnyak) Vrecsics.
He was a graduate of the Bethlehem Vo-Tech.
He worked in the engineering department of the City of Bethlehem for one year. He then was a structural draftsman in the engineering department of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 33 years.
He was a former parishioner of St. Joseph Windish Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and was an altar server. He was currently a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, where he was was a greeter and an Eucharistic minister to the homebound.
He is survived by three sons, William and his wife Kathie of Danielsville, David and his wife Luda of Bethlehem and Stephen and his wife Sara of New Market, Va.; five grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Heather Vresics, Amanda and her husband Adam Smith, and Luke, Megan and Colin Vresics; a great granddaughter, Lily Smith; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by his two brothers, Louis and John Vresics; and a sister, Mary, wife of Steve Holochuck.
