Janet A. (Rohrbach) Adams, 83, of Allentown, died March 5, 2019, at Manor Care West, Allentown, while being serenaded by Elvis/Teddy Bear and surrounded by loving family members and caring staff. She was the wife of the late Evan Adams, who was her high school sweetheart. She was a daughter of the late Earl and Mae (Krauss) Rohrbach.
She spent most of her adult life in Emmaus where she raised her family. Family was everything! She used her creative talents at Tucker’s Yarn & Hess’s sewing mannequin clothes. She also did clerical work for Schoen’s and Knoll. Ultimately, she and her husband operated her dream flower shop, The Chestnut Greenery in Emmaus.
She and her husband loved their family, friends, travel, playing cards and celebrating any life adventure.
She is survived by her children, Greg, Cheryl, Jordan, Sally and her husband Rick Held; grandchildren Becki, Kim, Rachael, Ben, Amanda, James, Sam and their spouses; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. George Rohrbach and his wife Lana; sister-in-law, Louise Rohrbach; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Richard, Russell and Ronald.
