Zachary F. Stanley, of New Tripoli, a engineering CAD technology major at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, proved his software acumen by passing prominent industry certification exams during the 2017-18 academic year.

The exams require candidates to meet several hands-on challenges, representing various aspects of the software.

SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor are two of several 3-D modeling software applications employed by Penn College students seeking a bachelor’s degree in engineering design technology or industrial design or an associate degree in engineering CAD technology.
