Moore Township: Basket raffle set for March 22-24

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, is holding a basket raffle 5-8 p.m. March 22, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 23 and 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. March 24.

The drawing begins 1 p.m. March 24. Winners will be posted after the drawing is completed. Participants do not have to be present to win.

The kitchen will be open.

Proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross of the Lehigh Valley, Second Harvest Food Bank, Bath Area Food Bank and the church improvement fund.

Salem UCC will also have bingo 6:30 p.m. March 23. Doors open 4 p.m. for bingo ticket holders only to participate in the basket raffle until 6 p.m. The kitchen will open 5 p.m. until bingo begins and during intermission.

Moore Township is accepting applications for a seasonal employee to work from April to November as an employee for the Moore Township Recreation Center. The position is approximately 20-30 hours per week but flexible.

Qualified applicants should have experience in lawn care and maintenance. A mechanical background is preferred, and a construction background is a plus.

Applications may be secured 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Moore Township Municipal Building, 2491 Community Drive. Completed applications are to be submitted to the township manager by March 29.
