Salisbury Township School District is sponsoring a parent workshop entitled “Health Benefits of Spices and Herbs.”
Those who attend will learn the benefits of using spices and herbs in cooking, ranging from mild to spicy. Recipes will be included.
Come to Salisbury High School 6 p.m. March 18 to take advantage of this workshop conducted by Camille Laszczak, SFE, the district food service provider.
No plans for the weekend? Support the arts by attending the Salisbury Theatre presentation of “Honk!” This is a variation of the story of the Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Andersen. Performances are 7 p.m. March 14, 15 and 16 and 3 p.m. March 17. Tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved at salisburytheatre@salisburysd.org or calling 610-797-4107, ext. 2508.
You can tell spring is here when the calendar starts listing the spring musical concerts. The kindergarten through second grade students at Western Salisbury Elementary School have been practicing very hard for their concert to be held 9:30 a.m. March 27.
The next school board meeting will be 7:30 p.m. March 13 at the administration building. The next curriculum and technology meeting will be 7 p.m. March 25 at Western Salisbury Elementary.
The Devonshire drop-off will be open March 16 and 19. Hours of operation for Salisbury residents are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday and Saturday of the month. Evening hours will begin in May.
