Margaret “Peggy” Martha Vince Ortt, 100, died Feb. 28, 2019, at The Gardens, Poplar Estates, Columbia, Tenn. She was the wife of the late Roswell Ortt who died in March 2017. They were married for 74 years. Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Bukczar Vince.

She was raised on a beloved farm in Vera Cruz and was a longtime resident of Emmaus.

She was employed at Emmaus Manufacturing and retired from Genesco Corporation, Allentown, in 1982 and moved to Tennessee for a short time and then to Spring Hill, Fla. for 29 years.

She was a loving mother, great cook, loved to play pinochle and was a joy to be around.

She is survived by a son, Bryan, of Billings, Mont.; daughter, Vivian Hardison, of Belfast, Tenn.; granddaughters, Michelle Rock, of San Jose Calif., Bridgette Walsh, of Lewisburg, Tenn., Jessica Bartling, of Cary, N.C.; grandson, Dan, of Missoula, Mont.; great-grandchildren, Sarah and Jake Blasingim, Naomi and Matthew Rock, Ryland and Aidan, Paxton and Cooper Bartling; sister, Irene Lipositz; several nieces and nephews.
