Charles Edward Lang, 74, of Bethlehem, died March 8, 2019, in the care of his family and St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary (Orban) Lang. He was the husband of Mary Ellen (Bauer) Lang for 47 years.
He was in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam.
He was a shipping clerk for Bethlehem Steel for 18 years. He later worked at Cigna Insurance Company for 13 years until he retired in 2010.
He was a member of Sts. Simon and Jude R. C. Church, Bethlehem.
In addition to his wife, Mary Ellen, he is survived by three children, Catherine M. Reese (Scott) of Whitehall; Charles “Chuck” Jr. (Lauren) of Downingtown and Christopher of Bethlehem; and four grandchildren, Ian, Abbey, Ryan and Katelyn.
He was predeceased by a brother, Francis Lang; and two sisters, Rosie Stettler and Geraldine Donchez.
