Paul G. Billig Sr., 91, of New Tripoli, died Feb. 27, 2019, in Kutztown Manor, Kutztown.
He was the husband of the late Doris J. “Dolly” (Correll) Billig, who died March 2, 2017.
Born in Lynn Township, he was a son of the late Gorman R. and Regina M. (Eschbach) Billig Sr.
After graduating from Slatington High School, he served as a special medical aide for the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was the owner of the former Billig Contracting and Heating Company, New Tripoli, until retiring in 2007.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Jerusalem “Red” Church, Kempton.
He was also a member of the Lynnport Fire Company, Lynnport.
His survivors include daughters Judy S., wife of Thomas Lichtenwalner, of Kempton, and Cindy L., wife of Darryl J. Feinour, of New Tripoli, with whom he last resided; grandchildren Brandon Billig and Kayla Feinour; brothers Allen J. Billig of Hamburg, and Carl A. Billig of Kutztown; sisters Anna M. Leslie and Eleanor M., wife of Stanley Wessner, all of Kutztown, and Annabelle R. Hosler of New Tripoli.
He was predeceased by his son Paul G. Jr; and siblings Gorman R. Jr. and Edna M. Rehrig.
Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family in New Jerusalem Cemetery, Kempton,
