Northampton Area Public Library: Genealogy program is set for March 11
There will be a Family History Basics program 6 p.m. March 11 at Northampton Area Public Library.
Join Thomas McCullogh, assistant archivist for the Moravian Archives, as he leads you through the basics of genealogy.

Registration begins March 11 for the new baby lapsit program.
The program is scheduled for 10 a.m. April 2 and 9 for babies ages 3 months to 1 year.
This program, featuring books, songs and action rhymes, will engage babies and promote early literacy skills.

Registration begins March 11 for the teen life-size game event.
The games begin 3 p.m. April 10.
Teens can participate in Hungry Hungry Hippos, Clue and Pac-Man.

The Mario Kart tournament starts 1 p.m. March 16. Show off your driving skills with this head-to-head video game competition for teens in sixth through 12th grades.
Prizes will be awarded.

Registration begins March 18 for the One Book, Every Young Child program. To promote early literacy and the importance of reading early, children will participate in a story and activity featuring this year’s book.
The baby and toddler program is April 16, and the preschool program is April 17. Both start 10 a.m.

Join us for the rescheduled do-it-yourself bath bomb making event, now set for 3 p.m. March 20.
Teens in sixth through 12th grades are welcome to participate.

The library book sale will be March 27-30. Children, teen and adult books, as well as DVDs and CDs, will all be on sale.
The library will accept new and used books, CDs and DVDs for the sale until March 16.

The library is hosting its first literature trivia night for adults 6 p.m. April 12.
Test your literary knowledge with your team of up to four people.
There will be prizes for first-place winners.

Get ready for Easter and make a bunny craft at the adult spring craft event, scheduled for 6 p.m. April 15.
