Western Salisbury Elementary PTA will hold its sixth annual purse bingo March 10. Doors open at the Salisbury Middle School cafeteria noon, with bingo 1-4 p.m. Prizes include purses by Coach, Kate Spade, Vera Bradley and more. The day will also include a 50/50 raffle and basket raffles. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event. Salisbury Theatre presents “Honk!” – a variation of the story of “The Ugly Duckling” by Hans Christian Andersen. Performances are 7 p.m. March 14, 15 and 16 and 3 p.m. March 17. It is time for spring conferences at Harry S Truman Elementary School and Western Salisbury Elementary School. On March 4, 5, 6 and 7, both elementary schools will dismiss 1 p.m. for parent/teacher conferences. All township schools are closed March 8 for a teacher professional development day.

The next operations committee meeting will be 7 p.m. March 4 in the administration building. The next school board meeting will be 7:30 p.m. March 13, also at the administration building. The Devonshire drop-off will open for the season March 16. Hours of operation for Salisbury residents are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday and Saturday of the month. Evening hours begin in May.
