Lillian Binder, 83, of Coplay, died Feb. 22, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospice House after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of Alfred Binder for 60 years.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Reinhart and Anna (Rosner) Marakovits.
She was a wedding and banquets coordinator at the St. Joe’s, Northampton.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, where she was an Eucharistic minister. She made pierogies.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Kevin and his wife Elise of Palmerton; a daughter, Kathy and her husband Daniel Silverblatt of North Catasauqua; and four grandchildren, Jessica, Jenna, Matthew and Olivia.
