Bruce P. Lichtenwalner, 77, of Kutztown, died Feb. 22, 2019. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Wenner) Lichtenwalner. They were married for 49 years at the time of her death in 2014. Born in Trexlertown, he was a son of the late Curtis and Dorothy (Reichard) Lichtenwalner.
He was a member of St. Paul’s U.C.C., Trexlertown.
He retired from Air Products and Chemicals where he worked in the maintenance department for close to 50 years.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting in his younger days. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, easily making new friends wherever he went.
He was a past volunteer on the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team.
He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn McLaughlin, of Allentown; son, Mark and his wife Cheryl, of Coplay; sisters, Carol George and Diane Guinther and brothers, Leon and Dennis; granddaughter, Ann Lambert and her husband Jason; grandson, Kyle. He was predeceased by brothers, Ronald and Neal.
Contributions may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Feb. 28 at St. Paul’s U.C.C., Trexlertown. Calling hours begin 5:30 p.m. Arrangements were made by the Boyko Funeral Home, Allentown.
