Dave Harrington, president of Lehigh Valley For All, has announced his bid for a Lehigh County at-large commissioner seat.
He said he is running to ensure that Lehigh County government is focused on community, transparency and justice.
Harrington grew up in the Lehigh Valley and currently lives in Coopersburg. He works in Allentown as an immigration attorney, protecting the rights of his clients and fighting for them to see their day in court.
A proud Penn State University graduate, Harrington also attended Penn State Dickinson School of Law. Interested in service from a young age, Harrington attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Minsi Trails Council and has been involved in politics since before he could vote.
Harrington is running because he cares deeply about aiding the community, having a transparent system of government to serve the people of Lehigh County and providing equal justice for all.
Lehigh Valley For All is a community-based, progressive grassroots group focused on helping educate and empower all who live in the Valley. Harrington’s group has organized many events, including the March for Our Lives, the March for Science, a congressional debate at Lehigh University and, most recently, an education summit at the Steelworkers Union Hall, Bethlehem.
