Seniors Hailey Baez and Devon Troxell were recently honored, along with the other Lehigh Valley schools’ girls and boys nominees, at the Lehigh Valley Soccer Scholar Athlete annual awards banquet, which was held at Northampton Banquet & Event Center Jan. 27.

Hailey was a four-year letter winner in girls soccer and was named a captain during her junior and senior seasons.

Devon was a four-year letter winner in boys soccer and was named a captain during his senior season. He also was a four-year letter winner in football, a three-year letter winner in track and field and a two-year letter winner in basketball.

Congratulations to both Hailey and Devon on their accomplishment!

Any interested senior student in athletics, marching band or National Honor Society should sign up in the high school athletic office.

Any junior or senior student who is interested in being a teacher assistant for the second semester (third and fourth marking periods) must complete a teacher assistant application paper located in the high school guidance office.

In order to be a teacher assistant, you must have at least an 80-percent grade-point average.
