Northampton County

Northampton County Area Agency on Aging is looking for nominations for the Northampton County Outstanding Seniors Awards.

Individuals nominated should contribute their time and talents for the benefit of others in the community through outreach, personal action, inspiration, public service, sports or educational efforts or civic humanitarian endeavors. Their passion for helping others must be evident. Those who have overcome personal challenges to meet the needs of others and those involved in intergenerational efforts and community betterment are sought for this award.

These nominees must be a Northampton County resident and at least 60 years old.

Nominations must be postmarked by March 21.

The nomination process involves filling out a nomination form and writing a short essay on the accomplishments and deeds of the individual. Mail the form to Melissa Titus at Northampton County Area Agency on Aging, 2801 Emrick Blvd., Bethlehem, 18020; or by email at mtitus@northamptoncounty.org.

The selected individuals will be honored at a special ceremony, which will be held 1 p.m. April 25 at Wesley Church, 2540 Center St., Bethlehem.
