Frank Krajcsir

Frank Krajcsir, 81, of Upper Saucon Township, died Jan. 10, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born in Budapest, Hungary, he was the son of the late Josef and Mary (Szabo) Krajcsir.

He was a freedom fighter for the Hungarian Revolution and emigrated to the U.S. in 1957.

He worked as a utility person for the former Bon-Ton department stores, previously known as Hess’s, beginning his career in the South Mall location and then spending the rest of his career in the Palmer Park location.

He is survived by children Frank E. and his wife, Carolyn, Rose M. Landis and Wayne Kucinski, and Marcia and her husband Patrick Leonard; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his beloved dog, Terry.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Emmaus Citizens’ Fire Co. #2, 1017 Pennsylvania Ave., Emmaus. Calling hours will be held 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at the fire company. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral home, Emmaus.
