Theresa Ann Hartner, 75, of Slatington, died Jan. 27, 2019, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus, Bethlehem, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late John R. ”Jack” Hartner.
Born April 19, 1943, in Phillipsburg, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Michael Jr. and Anna (Konyu) Gonda.
A technician at the former Lucent Technologies, Allentown, for 30 years, she retired in 2003.
A member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, she will be forever remembered for the love she shared with her family and cats.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, attending concerts, lunch outings and the daily coffee klatch with her friends.
Her survivors include children Sharon L. Caton and her fiancé, David Jabara, of Slatington, Joseph M. Hartner and his wife, Heather, of Danielsville; siblings Thomas M. Gonda and his wife, Marsha, of Bethlehem, Michele K. Grammes and her husband, Roark, of Trexlertown; grandchildren Tara Caton and her fiancé, Michael Valentine, of Pine Grove, and Tyler Caton of Slatington.
Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Jan. 31 in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Gordon A. Camp officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
