It’s crazy to think the end of the second marking period has come and gone for students at Salisbury Middle School and Salisbury High School. Getting that new portal notification is always the reality check of how fast time is flying by.

The Harry S Truman Elementary School PTO pizza pickup will be 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 25. For concerns regarding timing, please email Theresa at hemitoy@aol.com.

There will be a curriculum and technology meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 28 at SHS.

The next HST T-shirt day will be Jan. 31. Show your Falcon pride.

Please note that HST and Western Salisbury Elementary School will have an early dismissal Feb. 1, both dismissing 1 p.m. This early dismissal is only for the elementary schools.

HST first grade students will celebrate the 100th day of school Feb. 5, barring any snow days. They will participate in the annual fashion show and festivities within school. Please look for information to be sent home with your first grader regarding this fun time.

Salisbury boys basketball will host a flapjack fundraiser at Applebee’s, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Feb. 2. The event will run 8 to 10 a.m. There is a cost. Tickets will be available at the door.
