Mary K. Patterson, 90, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 15, 2019. Born in Williamsport and raised in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Fitzpatrick) Knowles.She was the wife of the late Ralph E. Patterson Jr. for 62 years.

She was a graduate of Seton Hall College and earned a master’s degree from Lehigh University.

She was a guidance counselor for 10 years at Bethlehem Catholic H. S. She was later a real estate agent for five years after moving to Hershey. She then retired to Pinehurst, N.C., for the next 30 years.

She was a former member of Ss. Simon & Jude Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by a son, William (Lori) Patterson; three daughters, Kristine Doherty (Daniel); Caroline Kuchinski (Kevin); Beth Patterson-Casilo; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Patrick, Christopher, Vincent, Kevin, Scott and Nicholas; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Eve Louise Patterson.
