Martin J. Hildenberger, 72, of Fountain Hill, died Jan. 6, 2019, while in the care of St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Joseph G. and Catherine C. (Bender) Hildenberger.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He last worked for many years in sales for F. L. Schmidt Co. (formerly Fuller Company) until he retired.

He was of the Catholic faith and most recently belonged to Assumption BVM Church, Bethlehem.

He was a member of the Fountain Hill Democratic Club and St. Bernard’s.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine L. and her husband Bruce Horton of Antlers, Okla.; a sister, Catherine “Kate” Hildenberger of Fountain Hill; a granddaughter, Savanna; and many cousins.
